HOW DIFFERENT BOOTS FIT
Speed Boots
Thin, sock-like uppers mold to the foot. Can feel snug at first — allow 2–3 sessions to break in. Minimal toe box room.
Control Boots
Textured or synthetic uppers offer a neutral fit. Generally true to size, though kangaroo leather variants stretch over time.
Power Boots
Wider forefoot and padded upper. Built for a big striking zone. Usually comfortable immediately with no break-in needed.
Hybrid / All-Round
Balanced for multiple positions. Standard fit — if uncertain, order your regular sneaker size and adjust from there.

SURFACE TYPES EXPLAINED
Choosing the wrong surface type is the most common boot mistake. Wearing FG studs on artificial turf will shred the outsole in weeks — and SG on hard ground risks ankle injury.

Firm Ground
The standard. Natural grass pitches that are firm and dry. Conical or bladed studs. Used in most competitive matches worldwide.

SG
Soft Ground
Removable metal studs for wet, heavy, or muddy natural pitches. Maximum grip in deep mud. Not for hard or artificial surfaces.
Winter / Wet
AG
Artificial Ground
Shorter rubber-tipped studs spread impact on 3G/4G turf. Using FG boots on AG will dramatically cut boot lifespan.
Turf Pitches
TF
Turf / Futsal
Rubber nub outsole for hard artificial or concrete surfaces. Ideal for cage football, futsal courts, or rec 5-a-side.
Cage / Rec
IC
Indoor / Court
Flat rubber sole for indoor courts. Prioritises lateral grip and pivot. Never use outdoors — the sole wears immediately.
